| Post subject: | BMX track day |
Anyone know the nearest bmx track and does anyone fancy a track day? i've never been on a track, did plenty of jumping and stuff when i was a kid ( you wouldn't think so the way i ride an MTB), so i'm thinking a need to do it before i get too old. |

I'll have to check my wheels still turn but i'm up for it, there's plenty of tracks around. last one i went on was a massive one in Peterborough 2 years ago. Maybe Rom skatepark or Braintree? |

There are only bowls at Rom. BAD bmx track at Dagenham has recently had an overhaul. www.badbmx.com I may be up for it. |

Just emailed the membership secretary to see if we can get on. not much info on their website. I see DMRDan has posted on their forum, he may be the chap to speak to? |

Dagenham and braintree both public tracks. braintree is recently refurbed and may be the better track to play on. |

Crawley is worth a look. Quite out the way for you lot, but there is the siiiiiick concrete park/bowl/halfpipe 5 mins away too. |

Dagenham track is open to the public except when the club is training or racing. they train wednesdays 6-8pm and saturdays 9 til 4pm. for the older more mature rider the sat session is 11-1pm ( beginners ) moving to 1-3pm when you can stay on two wheels. Who's up for it? |
