Yeah was a bit chilly on the way into work this morning, pretty much like the week so far...... I get a call to go on a job then this happens???? lucky i got in before it did because this is my transport!!!....... only question is.... how do i get it home???  and this is only 5mins worth.    MuZzA

I just run Nobby Nic's on really low pressure. Got me to work fine. Traffic chaos! Not so last night though, riding round a corner on the road, hit a sheet of black ice, bike shoots across the road and I use my face as a brake. Nothing too bad though and more importantly, the bike is fine! |

Yeah, i dont think they have the width to fit my YZF. However i have M/HR 42a on my commencal.  MuZzA

Get a motocross bike   I cannot understand why 1 inch of snow would make such a carnage on the roads. Took me 3h to get from romford to elstree this morning. |

Waltham Abbey was gridlocked yesterday morning - left home in the car at 7:30 and headed towards Loughton. Didn't even get to the M25 underpass before turning around and joining the queue heading back home. Wife got out of th ecar and walked, got home, made a cuppa and went to the loo, then left the house to walk to Waltham Cross, before I got back in the car. I ended up working from home, but it took me 1 hr 45 mins to get there!! - and I drove less than two miles! .... All gone by the afternoon though. epping should be OK this weekend if it doesn't rain - I expect the ground is going to be pretty hard. |

It's because people think they can drive exactly the same way, my neighbour was talking about the fact that they slid their car out into the main road because they hit an ice patch, but turns out they approached the junction at the normal 30mph with the same braking distance... It only takes a few of these incidents to gridlock a big area, especially in the rabbit warren of Waltham Abbey/Cross/Cheshunt. |

Well the park & Ride bus I was on Wednesday was better driving than all the idiots who where driving there cars into Chelmsford.. even driving in the bus lane, just because the snow covered the road does not mean the lane is no longer there... 3hrs to do whole journey from home to Liverpool Street Station... trains where delayed, got into London and not an ounce of snow anywhere.... |
