We'll all be dead then though.....apparently

Well, I'm not so sure about that. I think it was Caesar who introduced "Leap Years" into our calendar so the Mayan calendar does not take those extra days into account. I think that means that there's been over 500 "Leap Years" that haven't been taken into account, so in actual fact if the mayan calendar were to be believed, we all should have been dead months ago!

small consolation, but in 10 days time, after 21st Dec, the days statr getting longer again!

Fantastic injection of positivity, love it. From that date we are a day nearer to summer nights!

I feel the pain also. Family and job all conspire against us.

Ah, I know the feeling of you all. Just been through a rather bad break up and now happily single.

However, this has had a bad affect on my riding, infact the last time i went out on my bike was at the FOD uplift day a few guys went on about 4-6 weeks ago. Can't wait toh it some of the N.Wales trails when I'm back home for xmas. Roll on thursday (and Llandegla friday, Coed y Brenin Saturday and Gwydyr Sunday).

Oh for crying out loud, why the hell did I agree to go and watch a women's rugby game today!! The first day of the year where it's going to be nice weather and my shoulder is much improved so I have to go and watch 30 butch women scream and scratch each other for 80 minutes. All I can say is there better be a good fight with lots of mud.

Note to self, check the weather and always say I'm busy for the next 6 months.

ARSE, having not heard anything from the guy painting my frame i thought i'd give him a call just now, he was going on holiday when i dropped it off so knew it would take a week longer than usual, was expecting 'the call' last week but it never came, he just told me that he's trying to catch up and that the delay was from the fact his blast cabinet has broken and he's waiting on parts

He assured me it would be done next week....

must........be............patient.............

I would have my keys in my hands windmilling at this point!

I was a bit annoyed this weekend having signed up for an 86miler on sunday i decided to stay off the mountain bike on saturday, late on saturday night the 86miler gets "postponed" due to crappy weather!
i end up then somewhat tied into road riding so end up going for a 44miler, with the worst headwind i've ever experienced.
i'm talking the lowest gear possible and on a spirit level flat road crawling at 5mph!!
i wanna go shred!!!!
