I had one for about 8 years sadly he passed away, they are easier to keep / clean and look after than a goldfish gonna get another one soon |

Thanks for the info. What do you do when you go away on holiday for a few weeks? We put the dog in the kennels, not sure about a lizard? Do you have to get timers for the lights etc? |

Yes get timer for lights and the heat lamp on thermostat anyway and just have to get someone to feed it box o locusts and fresh lettuce and or cucumber Apple any like that no iceberg lettuce is like crack to a lizard |

OK thanks. I'm taking my son (its him that wants one) to SeaPets in Colchester on Monday for a fact finding mission. |

Hi ,had amonitor lizard for years -Alex. 2.5 fwwt when died . Buried in the garden. My sun had a monitor as well but had to get rid of it as had a baby. He also has a dragon and had it for years sytill going strong . easy to keep .Pet shops take them in and look after when on holiday . not to expensive. Enjoy it . Bob |

Ditto to what bob says easy to keep and a lot of fun if handle them from young they become very friendly to being handled |
