Probably not worth going second hand when you can pick up something like this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/bell ... prod115329 for under 50 Unless a second hand helmet is totally unused you dont know how safe it is |

If your doing jumping / DH / Enduro then you need a breathable full face like Jon posted, for XC you need a open face. if your just doing dirt jumping the get a piss pot. I use a Met Parachute 2014 model, but i dont do dirt jumping, mainly xc/enduro |

I use the 661 for DH and jumps great lid good protection and visibility for the price |
