Hi, I'm Ian, 23 and just moved down to the Abridge area and am looking for people and places to ride. I'm relatively experienced but haven't had a great deal of miles done since last summer, actually last time I even rode was in Wales at the end of April!

Anyway, looking for some riding to get the legs spinning again. I'll ride anything and everything, though full on downhill is a little too much for my Anthem sometimes (though it managed Cwmcarn downhill!) but I'll give it a shot. I also have a dirt jump bike, which I take to Chicksands a fair amount.

I guess Epping Forest would be my local, so I'll keep an eye out on rides and hope to join you on some of them!

Ian

If you fancy something a bit competitive you could always check out Beastway - Hanault way on a Wednesday evening - race kicks off at 7:30 from Redbridge Cycle centre.

If you fancy it drop me a Pm

Welcome btw!!

Graham

Hi Graham, I took my road bike to Redbridge the other night, though obviously didn't check the mtb course. Never thought of riding competitvly, but perhaps I'll give it a shot, someone has to come last I guess!! Is it on every week?

It's on every week until mid July. Let's just say some people take it more seriously than others!

Welcome dude ... loads of rides going on despite the weather. We are out in Epping a couple times a week. I imagine ur only a 10 min ride from the Theydon end of the forest.

Hello....

For dirt jumping, you need to hit up Warley.... Go to Brentwood go kart track car park, once there, head south into the woods and it wont be long until you discovery some epic riding ;)
