Post subject:  Hi all - quick "hello"

Hi,

Just found this site - it looks really good. I've rediscovered riding over the last year or two and want to get better/fitter. I'm riding a 2004 Specialized Hardrock Sport (with rim brakes!) which is close to being replaced (probably with a Cannondale Flash or Spec. Pitch Pro depending on wjether I stay with HT or go full suss)

I'm not that fast if there's a lot of climbing, which is why I'm looking to increase my fitness. This year I've ridden Cwm Carn, the Talybont-on-Usk blue and red runs, the Brecon blue and red, Bedgebury loads of times and last weekend did two days at Cannock Chase doing Follow the Dog and Monkey Trail. I also ride at Epping occasionally and South Weald.

Hopefully I'll make it along to a ride from here!

Steve

Hiya Steve,

Welcome to the forum, if you ever in Epping give me a shout I am always up for a ride. Although its got a little ridiculous the passed few days with all the mud.

Will do - thanks for replying. Epping is sometimes a mystery to me - one time I'll find miles of good trails and the next I'll ride aimlessly, wondering just where the car is for most of it!

Welcome Steve,
Epping is alot more fun on one of the few dry days but this time of the year you are almost certain to get caked in mud :D
