Right had a run out today,I rode 21 miles (flitch way)at an average of 11 mph..not sure if that slow..it felt quite fast..

Good going there! I normally do the whole lot averaging around 13mph but I ride the bit from Rayne to Braintree every day so average higher there. 11mph sounds like you'll be fine on a group ride, we only go as fast as the slowest anyway, never leave anyone behind (unless they ask us to!).

Think your have to swim the dunmow first section in the gully, and last bit under the A120,
