Big respect for anyone that dirt jumps - wish I could get my head around it, but never seen any small enough that I fancy trying. You been to Warley before?

Danbury is cool, no dirt jumps though.

Never even heard of warley before but will google it now

chicksands would be quite good 2 learn dirtjumping ? the tables there ?

or building your own is how i learnt, build it small and build it up overtime while u continue 2 ride it and ull be going big without even realising after a while :D

Hello mate - sweet bikes. Will be keen to check out broxbourne soon especially if there are a couple of jump spots over there. There are a few of us looking to get some dirt jump specific training viewtopic.php?f=3&t=53 so a local spot like that would be superb.

I remember matt mentioning a cheeky spot by a local motorway junction too.

If its the spot were i think (up near hertford) i wouldnt bother going there

when i first went there (a good year and a half ago) the trails were sweet there, a little outa shape some of htem but ridable and big

had gone there a few times then some guys came in with wheelbarrows, axes etc. and started like asking if were building the jumps and 2 stop if we are as they were taking them down, and made us get our stuff off the wooden roller as they were pulling it down. (seemed unlilely they were gonna nock the jumps down as they hadd all the tools for building and turned up in a 'pimped' toyota, not some sort of council or forestry vehicle)

next time we went back, low and behold, a nice new wooden roller was half built (ALOT nicer then the old 1) and some jumps had been nocked down, but there was stuff piled and half covered in dirt, looks liek they were building new jumps

since then not much has changed there

been a few times but theres nettles growing on all the jumps, fallen trees in the way and random half built jumps

been like it for a while (havent been for a good 2 or 3 months, will go soon and check out) so i wouldnt hold your breath at it being worthwhile doing it there

but jump training sounds good and if theres a shortage of numbers im sure me and a mate could fill them

also will be up in broxbourne saturday if any1 fancies it ? go woods for a bit then to the wreck (a few dirt jumps down near the station)

There not in the main broxbourne woods, theyre a 5 min ride form there

easiest way to find htem is from either paradise park / the woodman pub

there not to great as we started bulding then but hten bad weather and htat made it hard to get there and dig etc. so weve only realy started building again now so atm theres only 1 drop off and 1 small double as it was an okay size but some people cut it down by about half :( so we need to rebuild it back up

http://www.moredirt.co.uk/view_video.php?id=2095

thats the most recent video of the jump / drop (its form before the terrible weather, but we dig were the huge puddle is as its good mud htere, and it still hasnt dried completely)

now its been nocked down its back to ab out the size in that video

Fun trails - is that broxbourne woods? that tree jump looks well sketchy - do they all link into one run or are they separate? Love the wall ridey thingy too guys - good work!

Yup in brox woods

the tree jumps fun, just my bars arent 2 wide and htey get through by about 2", so someone with wider bars would have a bit of a problem i reckon, were gonna try and make it a bit wider over to the other side though to sort that :)

they all link into about 4 main runs, but some of them are interchangable into some more runs, and we have plans for were we can add in 1 more, then eventualy some sorta mini-dh

if any1 wants to see were they are they arent 2 hard 2 find if u go for a ride around the woods, but ill always come up and meet people, jsut they arent the best in winter as the path gets muddy and annoying, and the drop onto the big sheets of ply gets flooded :(
