Hi all, Recently I started to eat less and do more, doing more involved getting a bike for christmas, it was an apollo slant (it was quite a bad bike). I never intended to ride it as much as I ended up doing as I discovered I love bike riding, a combination of my (decreasingly) fat arse, crap components and a terrifying down hill venture into epping forest along with the fact several bits & bobs had fallen off it convinced me to get a new bike as the old one was knackered. I ended up getting a Marin bolinas ridge with disc brakes and better suspension and gear changer thingys and I love it, its so much lighter and safer feeling than my old bike. I have epping forest on my doorstep but none of my friends have mountain bikes and I was looking for a club or something when I came across this. So if anyone goes ridding in epping forest let me know. Im quite a newb at mountain biking still so be gentle. Cheers |

Welcome Nick There are ofter rides forming over Epping so keep an eye out on the forum, or post up and organize a ride, as more than likely someone will be around to joining you Great choice on the marin, |
