Hi! I'm Meez, female MTB, I've just got a bike it's a Pinnacle hardtail with some nice Rock Shox forks. Does anyone ride in the Watford area? I've been going into Whippendell Woods (accessible from Cassiobury Park) apparently there are some jumps which I am yet to find. Just been going with my husband, he has a Merida full sus bike. I was hoping we might find some other people, but so far we've been alone in the woods! Let me know if you're in the area, or if there's somewhere much better nearby where you are all hiding. Meez |

Ah thanks, there's plenty of wheel tracks so I know I'm not alone - just not met anyone yet! Let me know when you're next heading out? |

Went for a look again yest followed the track to the left of the bench saw a new tyre mark but no jumps or anything good

Ah! We were totally both there on the same day. I was following someone's tyre tracks feeling hopeful! I found a steep 'bowl' which I actually didn't dare try on my own in the rain. I reckon it's a myth about the jumps then, but it's still where I'll be going for the time being. I'll be going with 2 others on Sunday 20th Dec if you want to join |

Hi, have you looked on strava? I could see a couple of segments that mentioned DH and 1 that mentions jumps. |

Yep! Shall we meet 10am at Watford underground station? I was trying to think where else to meet but there's so many different car parks and bridges it might get confusing. |
