Hello fellow riders. I'm "Oldmansaracen just registered from Colchester. I have a question for the guys who've been to Danbury. What's the best bike to ride to get the full experience. I've seen some footage on screen and it looks to have more XC than freeride/ downhill. Which bike would you recommend? Cheers |

There is two parts of danbury, the xc trails that are in the woods and dh runs at the common. Nether are particularly ruff or challenging if you know what you are doing but with with the right bike will be a lot more rewarding. I would take a short trail trail bike to both. |

I rode there on a Cotic bfe and had no trouble at all with any of the runs or jumps |

On the jumps ive ridden everything from a hardtail to a DH rig with 200m of travel - all have been fun Anything 120-160 travel will cover all bases (XC + Jumps) round Danbury tbh |
