Hello, total novice to cycling just introducing my self before I post a few questions for you to hopefully answer for me and as I'm posting on this site I'm hopeful that a few of you may be familiar with where I ride for one particular question.

My main reason for riding is for fitness, in my 40's now! I don't actually think I would call myself a mountain biker, now or in the future, seen some of stuff you guys get up to.

Fortunate to live close to Hornchurch country park. Been riding there, ingrebourne Hill, the marshes down to the Thames etc. I'm having a great time and hopefully getting fitter.

Going to post my questions now on the technical advice section.

Cheers, Rich

Hi Rich,

Just joined the 40's myself ;) remember you'r only young once.

Keep an eye out on the top right for the calendar of rides and post up if you're struggling to find places to fulfill your new addiction.

Hi, I will do, not sure I'm fit enough to keep up though lol or brave enough.
