How's it going folks,

I just moved to East London about a month ago. Originally I'm from Ireland but have been living in the UK for about 4 years now. I'm a pretty keen mountain biker and try to get out at least once a week.

I used to live in south West London and would ride down in the Surry hills and Swinley Forrest quite a lot but ideally I'd find somewhere a bit closer to home and with a group.

Looking forward to riding with you

Ferg

Welcome along, what part of east London you now living in? One of the other newbies (rob) lives in Dagenham has been coming out with me a bit. What sort of riding you after?

Hey Matt

I'm living in Hackney but am pretty used to travelling for a ride. I usually do XC as that's what I've had available down in the surry hills but I'm pretty open to whatever you guys are up too and I'd be relatively capable of most things.

Where have you guys been going out?

I’ve spent quite a few years over Surrey hills, more doing trail/enduro than xc mind so when be good to see if you know anything I don’t over there. I live in Brentwood so Thorndon and Danbury are my local

Hey everyone,

Basically what I am getting from this thread is that everyone is pretty up for going to a ride.

@Matt, I'd be happy to go on an XC ride with you some day. I went out with a meet up group who showed me the larger loop that you can do which starts in Dorking and goes XC to Gombshall, up to Holmburry hill, over to Leith hill and back into dorking. Its good fun and you can always make it up when you get around Holmbury and Leith hill depending on how you're feeling.

@Neale, If you're up for it some weekend I'd be happy to join on one of the rides and help out on the new trail, maybe @Disco you'd be up for helping out too?
