Post subject:  Hello folks i'm ben from chelmsford

I'm quite new to chelmsford 34yo a little out of shape (but working on it)
almost finished rebuilding a cannondale prophet (my 1st full suss)

looking for a bit of guidance / advice
i've been over to danbury a couple of times (broken bike & broken ben)
not giving up!
wondering what hylands is like or any recommendations around chelmsford
so if you you see a lost bloke around trying to get to grips with a lefty fork? :?

cheers

ben

Welcome Ben,

Hylands is ok..has the course there they used for the mud sweat and gears series..getting a bit overgrown in some places though..still good for a blast around. I sometimes go up there on a weekend for a clear your mind moment.. have to watch the dog walkers though they tend to wander off piste onto the single tracks in the woods...

Epping Forest is also very good at the moment as it's bone dry and really fast, some superb down hill sections and track, keep an eye on the XC section for any rides out..

Hiya ben :) Welcome on-board - there is usually a Danbury ride going on every couple of weeks. I had a lefty for a while and its a great fork but does require some TLC
