We did it is 2 hrs 30 mins including a break at the services on the way down, a little longer on the way back. it was a bit wet and slippery - Tsubo in particular was proving something of a challenge just to get down; devils dyke improved as the day went on and ali's finger / wiggly / woo / big grin were all running sweet all day long. Karve and I both had 'a moment' on the wall ride - lesson here is not to try to ride it in greasy conditions - but also stepped up to hit the big gap jump at the top of the park, which was nice Lots of runs in the day c. 15 probably but I did lose count and could have done more if we'd really pushed it. Talking to Paul and Wayne - they have lots of plans for building new trails over winter - hoping for at least 2 completely new ones in next few months plus they've nearly finished a new ladder line (runs next to Ali's finger, parallel to the uplift track) which should be ready soonish. With a few more tracks - think this place will be stellar and closer than you might think!! Thnx to Karve for driving |

Yea was superb.. not to much driving for one day and the rapid turn round on the uplift is awesome. Super happy with the riding even with the mixed conditions. Tyre choice made a big difference. On the steeper tracks. Nice friendly bunch on the uplift too... although we did miss inappropriate John! Gap jump was nice to get in the bag as Northern said. Its a biggie but once we broke it down between us it seemed to make sense. Must have hit it 5 or 6 times in the end. Hopefully they have built a line with a few of those in a row by the time we get back there. Wallride was shadey! I had a comedy bar bending off on it. No worries on driving Northern - was fairly cruisy, On another note we we chatting to a fella on the uplift who seemed to have some interesting news on PORC.. one for you Joel this Apparently they have an uplift running The building has been completely glazed The dude has bought the other bit of land and the tracks they are planning will be 2* uk bp length ...im saying it as i heard it so don't take it as gospel but it could become our nearest uplift venue... hurrah. Anyone on here know any more details? |

Just received a mail back from Mike at PORC - was asking him about availability in November .... "We are in the process of building a new dh that will have an uplift. It's just a matter of time however I think this winter may be too soon." Would be awesome to have something like this within easy reach - fingers crossed..... Mike" |

I did have the camera but I felt getting it out might have been the kiss of death. The run in was slimey and requiring quite a bit of attention and focus |

Nice.. was that the line to the far right as went into the second section at the top? I've no idea what the "barrow" is. First dryish patch next year and UKBP is deffo being hit up again. Fingers crossed their digger holds together. |
