Headed over to Enfield trails (title changed to make location less specific) yesterday with tranny to check em out. cheers for the lift bro! Was pleasantly surprised. Took a few pics - actions ones are blurey as my cam is poo.

Thanks to banner999 for pointing the spot out! Nice one dude.

The dirt jumps range in size from really small to really big. Its the first place ive been where I felt i could work up through them and there was always something a little bigger than what you had just done - a really progressive place for those of us not that good at dirt jumping but wanting to get better. Not like Woburn for example where its massive or nothing at all.

Image

then we moved onto a fast line out the back of the dirt jumps which had a 10 footer - 12 footer and then a 15 footer and ended in a jump through the tree. We did the three jumps but didnt man up for the jump through the tree

Mad tree ending

Image

Then onto the shore - a couple of shore lines - bits of which need work but some cool stunts peppered along them

Image

We did this step down thing

Image

The ladder was really greasy yesterday. One for the future for sure.

Image

Image

Other bits were cool and had had some time spent on them

Image

Others needed some work.....Like this see saw

Image

Nasty!

Image

Anyone fancy being the test piglet for this river gap we found?

Image

So a cool few hours and might head back some time to tidy up the shore a bit.

Great little spot, summed up very well karve!

Will be taking a trip back there for sure. shame it was a bit too wet for some of the big shore action. We will have to go back in the dry!

Cool - yea same here! .....and thanks for rescuing my wallet! We will be back for sure. Does that place get very busy or was it just quiet cos it was bad weather?

Do you know who built all that shore - is anyone maintaining it?

erm, doesnt usualy get 2 busy there, busiest its been when ive gones been about 10 other people but that was part of a pinkbike meet that day (ive only been about 5 or 6 times though)

other times the most other people thats been there is usualy a group of about 5 or 6 little 10 year olds on bmx's who jsut roll over the main tabletop in the dirt jump area and go wooooooooah as soon as you get any air off anything

im not sure on who built the shore, and i dont think any1 maintains it as the original builders dont realy come down any more aparently (but i guess they built it). theres a few guys i met up there on the pb meet who maintain the dirt jumps, they dont change anything just if they get rutted or nocked down a bit they build em back up. so im guessing it would be okay if you fix up the northshore but dont change it at all...

Jon - I think the guy that built (or certainly was heavily involved with) the place returned back to Canada as I bumped into him and some others few years back at the place when I was walking around it and got chatting.

The inference was that he was handing over the maintenance to some young guys who were taking up the mantle. Maybe thats fallen by the wayside? I understood it was kept low key due to who owned the land (and potential issues if it got overrun with people)
