Martyn748's posse are heading up on Sunday and im tagging along - anyone else fancy it - its an easy 2hr drive from essex and I really enjoyed it last time I went with Grin. Trying to hook up with some locals so there is the promise of some interesting off piste to add to the 14m of waymarked trails. We doubled up some sections last time and it was a solid 20 mile ride which was enough for both Grin and I as we didnt hang about.

I may well take the full face and check out style cop DH stuff afterwards as well.

Might be my last awayday for a while so will make the most of it.

Well woburn was stella today. A mix of the old favourites and new stuff. Haven't been down there since June and they have built a few things - Inbetween the usual runs we revisited the sandy path gap we did years ago which has since been built up to be quite chunky and had a first bash at the smaller of the gap jumps into 180 berm with the hip kicker over it. All good. There were a few comedy crashes including me trying to eat a berm and another where one of eds mates bellyflopped onto my bike!

Transfer line was running sweet as usual and there seemed to be a secondary line coming off it now, hip line was good as ever and we did some of the mental steep stuff out of the back. The few new bits are in the back bowl where the gap jumps next to each other are, and can be seen in the last bit of the little vid below.

The showcase line is a big hip kicker leading into some large gap jumps with some snakey lines around them... so lots to get our teeth into over winter.

Good to see you guys yesterday.

Woburn is looking good at the moment, we're planning to get down there again soon and actually ride this time! Tom's got his eyes on those new gaps in the back bowl - I think I'll stick to camera duties ;)
