| Post subject: | Afan dirt park |
Anyone been to Afan bike park im going to wales on the weekend and wanted to ride there friday? (mainly the 4x track really) Im looking for a postcode and wondering if I can just turn up pay and ride or do I need to prebook a pass or something? Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers! |

Do you mean Afan trail center or afan 4x track as they are differnt things. Afan trail center (of which there are two centers where you can start from to at to the confussion) does have a skills area (as well as the trails) while Afan 4x is at bryn bettws lodge (£5 to ride there unless you'er staying there, then its free). Strangley enough i should be going at the weekend as well |

To be honest, I have stayed there (and will be again this weekend) and they don't really have anyone staying on site all day (just the morning to cook a BIG breakfast) so you can get away with not paying. If anyone turns up or they are working on it just say lots of please and thanks you's and you should be fine |

I don't mind paying but I just wanted to make sure it was open as I had originally planned on going to red hill but they are shut on fridays. |
