Hi

im new to Herts / Essex, got a bit of an old downhill bike, looking to find some friends here and start riding Downhill and Freeride.

I put my bmx away cause i wasnt happy with the street riding here so thought id cut into another path of riding, fuelled by watching NWD 5 to 9 when i was younger. thats the kind of stuff i want to do, downhills, drop offs, progressing from small of course.

ive had a couple of runs through bits of epping forest, but looking for drops and gaps, apparently rangers knock anything they find down now so thats off.

ive been to the enfield trails and the small stuff is too small, the shore is pretty scary to me right now.

watching some vids of 'herts shore' look perfect for building up to, but sounds like its private? i have 0 friends here after 7 months so im keen for meeting up and fitting in.

Aston hill sounds like a good place to get a grip of stuff but its 40 mins drive but still keen.

im free all this week too!

Get used to travelling to hit big stuff.
Check the map on the main page for all the big places to ride
Enfield is a decent play spot but more of a half day place
Porc has loads of free ride as does bull track both in Kent so not much over an hour away
There is a charity race event on at the bull track on Sunday next week get involved will be lots of fun an plenty of us going
