So it's looking like it's gonna be a sunny week (after today's rubbish weather has sorted itself out!) I haven't ridden any dh in ages so I think I'm due a trip to Aston Hill. Anyone fancy joining me on Saturday? |

I need to get out on the bouncy bouncy bike sometime and do some proper DH so that sounds cool. Im in Ill do an Epping ride on Sunday as well if the weather is good. |

Cool! Be good to see you guys there. I haven't ridden any dh in ages, now will be the time to see if all the climbing has made any difference for me strength-wise... Tom's lovely mum has offered to babysit the dog, so Tom and I will both be riding, hurrah! We're hoping to get over to Aston for about 10. Forecast is looking good, I think it might be scorchio! |

First 5 with Tom, Beth and David then Nigel turned up and did a couple with him. Only one small crash and it was a nice dusty slidy one on 423. Lucky there wernt any more as it was too hot to ride with chest and back plates. Managed to bend a rotor on a bit of off piste on DH4 as well. Lots of people down there today and a nice chilled out vibe. That walk up is a killer tho! |

Good day at Aston yesterday in the hot hot hot sun - I cooked in my armour! I was pleased, haven't ridden dh for a shameful 6 months and was a bit worried I'd be right back to the beginning but was actually ok, I have to (finally) brave the black run next time I ride there... Good to catch up with Jon and to meet Nigel, although very briefly! Paul and Kenny, I'll be heading over again soon, need to get some practice in for Chamonix, hopefully see you guys over there soon |

Need to get to Aston one day, but had plans yesterday so couldn't make it. I wasn't too jealous, it was pretty hot! (was much cooler riding today, but still no breeze). It's easier for me to ride weekdays so might take an afternoon off and ride from 3ish onwards. If anyone else fancies that then let me know and I'll book some time off. |
