We are in a group of about 10, of which 3 of us will stick together, and will travel back in my mates Disco as it can fit the 3 girls who will yravel down a bit later plus us 3 with the bikes on the Towbar

Hmmm, a few years ago I was doing the London to Brighton road ride regularly with a mate. He had friends with a guest house towards Lewes so we used to drive down there the day before in our own cars, leave mine with the rack and a change of clothes etc in the boot, then come back in his. Next day once we'd finished the ride, we'd just ride to may car, get changed load up and drive home.

More research required I think. I'll see what I can figure out before making a definite decision!

na we got notices no bikes allowed on the bike event days, on or off road it seems. proper pain, they could just put on a freight carriage and get everyone home!

I wanted to do this ride last year, but exam got in the way.

Hoping to do it this year instead, was thinking about just camping over night, and getting the train back in the morning.

Hi all, my missies wants to get fit again now the children are here and is planning to do London to Brighton next year so I'm thinking of doing the London to Brighton off road 75miles next September. Just wondered if anyone fancied it I would imagine it will be more of an endurance test than technical and only £35 to enter

Hmmmmm have u seen the 2 bumps in the middle and the one at the end

I am doing it this year and have been to the Surrey downs twice in the last month to have a play and follow the actual route for 30 miles and its a lot harder than I thought, not to be confused with the London to Southend this weekend which I'm also doing

It will be fine I've been out for four months after an op and South Downs way is when my final exams are so I'm thinking London to Brighton off road is like a degree finished celebration :)

Only 5 days to go. seems like it is full as well, also just seen on BHF site that they are letting bikes on the trains. But only a small amount at a time.

so who on here ending up booking this then ? Also how long you thinking it will take ?
