Anyone going to be in Thetford for Round 3 of the Winter Series this Sunday ???? |

Sorry- saw this too late! Yes, i did it and have already registered for round 4, too. Not a fan of the course really, much preferred the Gorrick race I did last week. Shame really as I liked the round 2 layout. |

The course was not the best i have ridden at Thetford. I think all the tree felling in messing them up a lot. It did flow pretty wll, just needed a few more techy sections. Was very physically demanding. Hopefully Rd 4 will be better, with some bombs holes etc. |

The bits that I hate are those nasty, undulating sections- like 'The Plum Buster'. Plum buster by name, plum buster by nature. Jason, which cat were you in? |

Yeah those things are tough to deal with. To get any speed over them you have to stand up and put the powerdown.... which makes your thighs burn by the time you get to the end of the section. The sweeping downhill single track was good fun, i got a few good runs through there with no obstuction. I generally do badly on anything up hill, cant climb for toffee.....
