I wear knee pads, mainly xc but with a couple of technical sections, bit like the 'black' at bedgebury but 4 or 5 times longer with 3 other bigger lines, (we'll be pushing back up) everything is rollable and its HT friendly. Its dry and running quick at the moment.

Cant recommend this place enough. :)

Yeah superb ride, chris you were right, much better than bedgebury.
will defo go back - once i can ride again as my knee is knackered....and then I'm gonna kick the shit out of that gully jump!!!

You were right darren, you can't buy just the gear indicators on their own....£90 bill for a new pair.

Keith have a look at merlin cycles,doing 10% off the xt are even cheaper.

Bruised, swollen and a bit sore but i'll live and hope to be out and about on friday.
getting my new shifters fitted on wednesday so bike will be ready to go.

Yeah it was just the gear indicator, the shifters are fine but Shimano dont do that part seperately. You can remove them but your left with no cover on the shifter so all the crap will then be able to get into them.
I had SLX shifters but took this opportunity to upgrade to XT.
