Guys, anyone fancy turning up at Warley Gap, at the car park by Brentwood Karting and trying out a 2012 Ghost Mountain bike?

I have someone coming from Ghost with a selection of bikes for you to try - all you need to bring is some photo ID (driving license perhaps) and your pedals if you ride clipless - or just turn up on your bike and we will change them over for you and look after your bike while you try out a Ghost.

This is the likely selection of bikes that will be there for you to try:

29er - in 48cm
http://www.ghost-bikes.com/bikes-2012/bike-detail/htx-29-actinum-9000/

120mm full sus xc - in 40cm, 44cm and 48cm

150mm full sus xc trail - in 44cm * 2
http://www.ghost-bikes.com/bikes-2012/bike-detail/amr-plus-7500/

and one for the ladies:
Miss AMR 5700 1200mm full sus xc - in 44cm

Hello mate, it's on Sunday 22nd April. Need to finalise times but hopefully 9 - 2 or 3.

If we get a good turnout might stay longer....

As a fat bloke who tried a few 29er full-suzzers a few weeks ago, I have to say I liked them very much! Not everyone's cup of tea but they're a bit easier to push along!

Be good to see you guys there - The 29er from Ghost is a hardtail but it's still worth giving it a go. There seems to be a lot of interest in the 29ers so I've got on to Felt, and I should have one of their 29er Hardtails there are well, in a 19.5.

Guys if you think you're going to be able to make it can you register your interest by joining the Facebook event I set up please?

It's at http://www.facebook.com/events/390301540988939/

I was out over Thorndon this afternoon at 4.30 - it's the first time since I joined this forum that I rode the trails alone, still good though and oh yes drying up nicely.

You've ridden mine?

Anyone who wants to try a propper 29er just let me know, or join me on one of the rides for a go.

(hopefully it wont break again in the mean time)

Haha nice one - your Epping night ride and downhill posts gave it away I reckon - señor Lewis per chance?

I'll have to get over to epping for a ride!

I'll let you have that one! Yep, get yourself some nightlights and come out for a pedal, 8.15 Thursdays. Hope you and the tribe are well. Try and get out for a beer over the Summer?
