Hi all,
I should be free this Saturday, morning to afternoon, for a ride.
I've never been outside London (North Downs etc) and I'd really like to try those great places - but I'm a bit concerned to go around on my own where I don't know anything and it would be nice and easier to go with someone who knows the place.
Happy to try technical xc, but I stay away from drops and jumps - I've just started and I'm not that fit as well - I don't want to be a pain for you! Step by step...
Ideally looking to get a train from London Bridge, Waterloo at a maximum.
What do you think?
Oh, a question about the bike parks: are they all downhill oriented? A place like Porc sounds great, as it is easy to reach without the chance to get lost in a gigantic wood...but they are for downhillers only I undertstand.
Anything suited to useless cyclist like me?
