Hi Bob,

Beautiful sunny day. I did 4 laps in category super veteran and finished 12th out of 25.
The course didn't suit my style at all on this bike and was cornering very slow on the twisty and bit muddy flat and non technical singletrack. My tyres didn't find grip at all either (rocket rons 2.25, rear central knobs almost gone)
As time passed, the course was drying and my time laps were improving; I was the only one who got faster after every lap.

I have to relearn to race here after spending soo much time in the Alps.
Lap times 25:40, 25:28, 24:58, 24:51.

Took my ages to clean bike...ImageImage

Hi,
You done great.
You had fun as well.
How long was the lap distance .
Cannot wait to race you and say hi several times as you pass me.
Racing is good for the soul and gets you out training in the winter months .
Cannot see me getting above a 12 in a race unless there is 11 in it and then I will get a mech breackdown. )
Thanks enjoyed reading it.
Bob
