To be fare the bloke in the article was going for it and on one of those beach racing bikes... on a fatty with a gentler pace I can see it being fun.... and if your not fit before the race... you will be after ;)

I guess a total thorough bike clean/service would be necessary straight after this race. Interesting though, I would would be tempted but next time. Already booked for MSG on 16th.

They have bike washing facilities but the tide apparently is a mile out.
good luck on the msg
when Ian said how much fun his fatty was i was a bit sceptical, but now i love it.
i took the fatty to Jedis skills place and a few people had a go and were doing manuals and bunny hops, looked really funny, but everyone was grinning

Can't go wrong unless you hit a jump expecting the suspension to soak it up.
Need to get out on mine again soon

Bloody hell!
Not seen a Rockstar in the flesh, let alone a Carbon one, Cool.
Mine weighed in at 13.5kg (29lb) before the carbon wheels, so now it "should" be below the 13kg (28lb) ? I'll weigh it again after i cleaned it ;)
