Hi people,

New on here and not been along on any rides with you guys yet but does anyone want to ride Swinley forest this saturday?

Thinking get there about 10:30

I'm supposed to be heading there for the first time on Saturday morning but not sure what time yet. Its a bit of a trek from Essex but have a buddy in Reading who I'm meeting up with.
Will be on a white and blue Rockrider 9.2

Sorry North, I actually got there at 9am - the car park was already rammed - and did a blue loop with my buddies before they had to leave. Stayed on and did the blue again and some red sections, a couple of which were amazing, although it all seems a bit disjointed at the moment - lots of fireroad links and getting lost. And my gear shifter snapped off (alloy ffs) and had to be cabled tied on.
Anyway I thought it was great. Good trail conditions, some tacky mud but mainly on the link trails.

Ah no worries, i was caught out by train cancellations, only got there about 11 and did what was open of the red route, was great.
Good that you had a good ride. Reckon it'll be really good when it's all open.
