Been down to Devon this week and managed to get some time on the bike. Visited Keypitts new trails (in Dec 14's MBR mag).
Really nice trails in development. Had a quite natural feeling to it. Plenty of uphills to grind away at, some fast hairpin berms, drop offs and a few kickers for some air, and a steep technical black run.
Needed some good clearing winter tyres as the trails are pretty claggy with v.sticky and slippy. This led to some sketchy descents (mostly sideways!). Nice place to brush up some skills!
£5 for a day and a nich bunch of guys running it. Well worth a visit in the Barnstaple / Ilfracombe area for a day.

Yeah it's a pretty good place and I'm not too far from it since moving to Devon a couple of years ago. It's worth a visit if you're in the area and if you can help Garry out to keep it running then that's great.
