Just back from jaunt to Brighton...
(not on the bike ;) )

Looking forward to Wednesday's session :)

I just need to be conscious that I need to remain contactable for work until late morning / midday before going off-radar for the afternoon's riding...

Just thought do i need my full face or normal XC stuff?
I have enough padding to come as Robocop? to what extent shall i pad up?

Never worn any pads or fullface there before, although will be in knee pads tomorrow.

Lakeside/thurrock services are a pita for me to get to, so can meet you at Clacket lane services or at the car park in the surrey hills at 11.15-11.30.

Phew.. I'll be OK then..

Do you advise packing some grub into our bags or is it a case of stay light and there are places to find sustenance during the day..

Cheers,
Ev

Now you have me wondering ;)

Got my usual gear packed but seeing your list points out stuff I need to buy to have ready such as link, spare pads, etc...

But importantly, I've got us a couple of cakes to share for our lunch :)

So looking forward to it :)

Having just polished of a large chicken shish with chips, all I'm saying until I gather my thoughts is

OMG!! What a day!!!

Big shout to Beardee for our guided tour..

We had a guy on a uni-cycle with us all day too which was interesting :)

Enjoying sitting on my nice comfy sofa after forgetting to wear riding shorts :(

And it's just as well my mileage logging wasn't being taken from my rear wheel as it seemed to spend half it's time bouncing all over the trails ;)

Awesome day chaps.. Hope the footage from frame-cam comes out ok :)

VW and Serfer is it really taxing. I got out on my bike for the first time since breaking my Ankle and did 18.5k in about 2 hrs was bloody knackered by the end though. I had some trouble with a few slopes! Wouldn't feel right calling them hills!

I'm gonna try and get at least 2 or 3 rides in per week to prepare and I've got a month roughly
