I've done some research into the upgrade/ new bike thing and started looking further into fork lengths etc.

I have felt for agggges that my forks were too short; but the LBS that fitted them said they were fine.
:?
So I thought I'd measure my forks and got 120mm of travel.

Upon typing exalt 120mm forks into google i found similar views that the frame needs bigger forks.
A link showed DMR said 150mm were best SC and 170mm DC.

No wonder I feel like i want to naturally slightly manual stuff- that's the angle my frame wants to land with front wheel contact. I also felt that the bike is a bit steep on the proper DH. Answer is the frame will slacken with better forks.

Pfffffff.

So the debate has now been answered by science and advice.

Getting some 150mm forks and upgrading the stoppers n wheels. Save loads of cash :D

p.s. LBS was JD cycles in Benfleet. Another LBS of failure.

I would think even 140 would be better than what you have now. Only issue being, make sure you five yourself plenty of time to adjust as slackening the HA and raising the BB height will dramatically affect the handling.

Some Rev's or Sektors would be good on it.

Sektors do look good. Also solo air version is in the price range. I like the adjustability of air. Also theyre 150.
