Are we saying approx 140 - 150mm travel and two - three front chainrings?

dmrdan you are missing a fair few bits from karves list like a stem, tyres, headset, cables, grips, etc and i dont see the wheels in the £1600 - otherwise nice stuff

Sorry mate - at work- I just copied and pasted the basket on CRC.

I come on here to keep sane and get my two wheeled fix lol

Stick another £150 for bits and £200 for some wheels and I'm done.

Still not bad spec when you compare a similar priced build off the shelf.

It's appealing having a bike that is perfect from the word go and no upgrades needed for yeeeeaars.

I well reckon that with some effort and square eyes you could get that down a couple of hundred at least.

The Nuke proof wheels you mentioned are £300, but its not like it matters

I have a new Santa Cruz Bullit and, with frame, so far its cost me £2500 and thats without a new drivetrain. Will be getting a full Saint set next year. God bless bike schemes!
But I have a custom bike that I wouldn't get anywhere else!
