Nice big pictures to help me not decide lol

im thinking to go for the 2012 Bianchi but ask him to order in another one as that one had a chip on the frame by the head stock about 5-6mm in diameter and he only offered to reduce the price by £20 because of the chip, im thinking (A) for the sake of £20 id rather have one without the damage or (B) he may then offer to reduce the price more as will be thinking he will have this with everyone that comes in and sees the chip..

anyone got an opinion on what discount should be offered with a 5-6mm chipped frame as its by the headstock its viewable when sat on the bike ?

100 quid off.
Edit: adds more guff....

The chip or chips would irritate me so new bike no chips or scratches.

emm 100 would be nice, im defo thinking twenty quid is not going to be enough discount for anyone to buy it over a mint
one..

got offered one of these from local shop for £870, seems to have a pretty top spec?, might sell the kids  and go buy it

You started at around £300, right? I wouldn't pay more than £500 for first bike

You get what you pay for as we found out when your governed by a limited budget your choices are reduced obviously although there is still a wealth of bikes in the sub 500-600 quid mark they all had various quality of equipment and frames but generally they where crap bikes and the quality could be seen but finding that happy medium and the best of the bunch is the hard part especially if you want it to last a good few years and don't want to get into upgrading too much

I spent £370 on my first bike and £120 replacing the forks 6 months later. After a year I replaced it with a £1100 bike. If I'd spent £700 on the first one, I wouldn't have bought the second.
