Post subject:  Gloves

I've been through various brands now and currently have some Royal Racing ones from 2010 ish

these actually,

they have worn in various places and i always found the fingers a little short, even though my palm measurement matches up to a large.

Can anyone recommend any that they are getting on well with ?

i'm not fussed about massive protective knuckles etc although i will probably regret saying that lol.

Love my dakine. They fit my odd sahaped hands perfectly and have always held up pretty well to some realy special slams

I use the Royal Racing Pro gloves. Have had 2 sets and quite like them but as you've said they tend to have small fingers so i always go a size up.

I have a set of these too and they are nice and thin, but the grip on the 2 braking fingers wears off quick!!!

661 Raji

Been using them for while now and they fit well and there is no fuss.

Elasticated wrist, which seemed odd to me at first but now I really like them!

Cheap, no fuss gloves that do the job well.

Yer i use the cross x for all types of riding and loved em. They just lasted and the snot/sweat wipe is actually nice to have. I just picked up a pair of the sentinel's from chain reaction for £18 (i think). Was really sceptical about the d30 padding but so fare its been great, it actually works. Probably not really necessary but for that price it seamed stupid not to

I've always used fox gloves and have never had a problem with them. They fit well with a variety of styles for different uses and last for ages. They can usually be had with a discount around this time of year on the foxeurope website with the new season styles coming in soon. Maybe even cheaper elsewhere.

I soley wore a pair of Royal Blast all year in 2011 and they were great for all sorts of riding, breathable and light yet suprisingly warm on winter rides!

Used Fox gloves for years but the last pair i had, the stitching fell apart after 2 months light used so changed brands.
