Bumping the topic...

I'm looking for a light and I was having a look at these T6 lights that you find on Ebay, do they come with a helmet mount or you have to buy one separately? It seems that they only with a headband and the bar mount.

Could anyone give me a help?

Cheers

Deco

What helmet do you use?
the bands that come with them can go through the vents, or modify the "band" mount to attach the helmet.

My helmet is a regular one with vents on the top, I'm asking because I used Karve's light other day and his light had a velcro strap that looks it is made to use as a helmet mount. But yes I guess I can adapt the band somehow. Thanks buddy!

I'm a bit of a mceyver so I've drilled out the top of an old water bottle so I can put the battery in to have a bottle mounted battery pack

You'll need the brightest on your noggin as you'll be looking ahead to where you're riding.
Then your other light on the bars, to light up the trail immediately ahead..

I run a wide lense on the bars light and spot on head.

How much did you pay for the set?
you should get one for the bars too.

Only ever run bar mounted before so head mounted light is a new idea for me. First night ride Thursday with the new light set up only bridle ways and disused railway local

I used to ride in Danbury years ago on terrible lights and I have another electron I could run them bar cree head or twin electron on the lid with another £4.50 mount

I'd try twin electron on bars with Cree on head and see if you have enough light from bars.
Most important to have more light on head as its too late seeing something from bars as you're already there ;)
If twin lights not good enough on bars then maybe get a 2nd Cree.
