Had a few pairs of mountain kings 2.2 racesport tubeless ready on my extinct 26. They have been very good for all around, mixed conditions but never for Epping mud. Yesterday I had Rocket Rons 2.25 (rear a bit worn out) and not the best choice. Bontrager almost on the way. |

I rode most of Danbury on some bontranger mud x 2.0 on Sunday no issues what so ever. As you've had them before and said they're good. Why not just get the same but in 29 ? |

I ran the Maxxis Medusa last year and that was excellent at all round grip, but wore out incredibly quickly, this year I'm running the Maxxis Beaver, will report back after a few more miles, but it was the perfect tyre for the TVT Cool Challenge a couple of weekends ago for the very mixed conditions. |

Just bought them now. One of the reasons I was asking is same tyres on 29" performance is worse. Heard that on the continental X Kings for example |

It took a couple if go's but I'm running the beaver 26x2 EXC as tubeless, works fine and didn't need a LUST or UST version in the end |

I had to stick a tube in it overnight and rub it in soapy water, so I only had to make one side stick |
