A new year and the possibiltiy of a new bike. i'll never part with my Gary fisher hifi pro 120mm as its a fantstic all rounder so it could be time for something with a bit more travel as an alternative ride for away days. who knows i may even get to leave the ground at some point? though this will involve help! Thanks gents Ian, yes forgot you have a new bitch, look forward to seeing it soon. always liked the look of them crank things. NWM, i take it you mean "its direct from the manufacturer with not much in the way of uk care options" ? I do have some allen keys and enthusiasm......... or i could just hand it to Nick if it goes pete tong. as i say its only caught my eye and i now owe you both a penny. Cheers. |

I def mean because of the hammerschmidt thing plus the rest of the bike ian i know you know your way around a bike but not everyone does i would go into foreign internet purchases with your eyes open and only after having exhausted chatting up your local bike shop you'd be surprised what they can offer on bikes at times look at the glut of scotts that came out of les cycles in canvey for decent money for instance. |

Set a budget, decide how much travel u want and then search the obvious options and wait for a good deal to come up. If anything does go wrong, its only a matter of searching the net for instructions/videos on how to remove and replace(read:upgrade!) whatever it is. |
