Hi guys,

I am off to Spain in a few weeks and wondered if anyone has any experience as to whether it is necessary to let out air of suspension and shocks?

I am getting the impression that it isnt really but some people do to be on the safe side...?

Anyone with any knowledge greatly appreciated

People do it to lighten their bikes as airline charge so much, everyone know air is very heavy ;)

Yer its just as a precusion but to be honest the luggage compartment is pressised as well, when was the last time that you got home from your holidays with an exploxed deodarant can

I would not worry it helped to let air out my shock to fit the enduro in my bag. I also load up my bag with gear. pads protecting bits.:) As it was 32kg allowance with British airways to geneva.my bag has no wheels so its lighter but a chore to carry

If u let it down it it would technically be bottomed out which if it got a whack In a soft bag wouldn't be great
