EEkk !.. They look a bit OTT. Are they for MTBing ?

Plenty of others available, and prob cheaper too. You had a look at Chain Recation site ?

Ive got some 661 D30 ones, not a great fan of the hard knee/shin types, as they can be unflexible, hard and some have a tedendancy to slip down, leaving your knee exposed.

But does depend on the type of ridiing you do,how light/flexible do you want them to be, etc ?

Many of the big bike stores have been running great sales recently and many here have picked up some bargain clothes/armour, there have been quite a few recent threads about it.

I think they are moto cross ones to be honest.

But I have screws in both Knees and titanium rods in both legs hence I've gone heavy duty hopping that if i do crash they will take the brunt of it.

I just wondered if I could peddle with them

Cheers Danny

Well..that explains more, they differ from MTB pads in the bit above the knee, it has a seperate knee joint and I suspect, yes peddling may be a bit hard.
