Depends on wheels my tyres are none tubeless.

You got to see if wheels are compatible with tyres

I'll look for youtube link. I had help with mine and did back one myself.
Rim strip or yellow tape.

Was cheaper to but individual bit the a stans kit.

If it thorn related the easy/cheap option is slime tire tape ? It's a thick tape you run around the inside between tyre and tube.
Had my first puncture of the year Sunday and its a bugger :(

That stuff is rubbish and the thorns always go in the part not protected... ran it a while then took it out...

I always did way back when but don't run anything now. I've not tried tubeless as I like to switch tyres a bit.
I changed tyres at Tunstall before the race

Have you tried latex tubes? (no giggling at the back!) Michelin make them, since I started using them about three years back I've only had one puncture. All the advantages of normal tubes in terms of tyre choice and ease of fitting/swapping tyres. Lighter than normal butyl tubes. Can run really low pressure and they won't pinch flat (have dinged the rims on square edge rocks and still not pinch flatted).

Only problem is they lose pressure over a few days, so you need to pump them up every ride pretty much. For that reason I wouldn't use them in a commuter, but for a weekend bike, they're great.

I've had huge miles out of a Nobby Nic snakeskin Evo front & Racing Ralph rear and only a few punctures over the entirety. And I think they were mostly in bad conditions when going 'off-piste'.

Currently running Hans Damph but only just starting to put the miles in so can't comment as yet.

Slowly but surely :)

Knee is more stable but still need to be careful with it so no fast stuff yet.. just in case ;)

Shoulder is a lot better although I've been told the pain could take up to a year to go

But did an 18 miler on Sunday morning.. Stamina was OK, just no strength in the legs yet

OK Last question haha. I've torn two pairs of tracksuit bottoms now on the chainring. Gutted. I've looked for a new guard (last one smashed) but can't find anything of any quality. Is it possible to fit a 5 arm bashguard to a 3 speed mtb to prevent this. This is the only one I've found so far.

Is this possible.... ??I don't wanna hear the just get trouser clips solution if there's a work around. Thanks again for feedback so far BTW.

Cheers

Why are you wearing tracksuit bottoms?
Shorts or if your that way inclined tights?

Tracky bottoms will always catch on something?

I'm with VW on this shorts all the way or bike specific trousers if you must.
Trackie bottoms are just going to get wet dirty and heavy out on the trails at the mo
