You can get chrome powder coating now but it's not quite mirror finish so not perfect, no point in chroming aluminium, just polish it instead and clear coat it, hmm... Sent using the force... |

I'd do some tone of orange or red the main triangle and the other bits white. |

Nah, want to drop off and collect myself as some sort of insurance and quality control. different bits different colours.... oh damn....... now you've really messed it up ! Asbo orange, a mica pearl like on the focus up front with a chrome rear ??? |

Getting the pearl or metallic to flip with a powdercoat will be expensive. i would go with one solid colour and leave it at that mate why not match the colour of your current bike |

Originally i was going to go with the kawasaki green of the Alpine but i like a change, pearls, translucent and candy's aren't a great deal more than flats, it will be about £70 prepped and painted with a flat colour, don't mind dropping a little more for something i really like! worried about making it look cheap though ? |

I would be wary of anything non factory as it will look a bit weird to me but its not my bike so the final decision rests with you mate |

I just bought heliptape from ebay, dont know if there is diff 'brands' available, I tended to buy the cheapest, its all pretty good but does come in lots of different lengths and widths, my frame is about 99% taped up now. Tip. Decide on what stickers you want to put on first, including the EssexMTB ones..of course  Andy |
