After finishing off my already worn out wheels at Cwmcarn and UKBP the other week I finally got around to sorting a few bits out on my Wildcard.
Hubs serviced at Hope and built back up on Halo Freedom rims and some fat new spokes and nipples (not sure which ones, but they look strong!)
Big thanks to Luke @ Triton for sorting the wheels for me.
Also swapped out my old V12 pedals for some Superstar Nano Tech Flats, and Easton stem and bars have gone and replaced with Thomson X4 and Easton Monkey Bars.

Hell yea those white bits are really nice mate!

Good choice on the Easton kit - the 4x stem is the best stem out there

Nice Matt, looking good! Love the white rims, we'll see if we can get those dirty tomorrow!

The Thomson stems look fantastic, but 50mm seemed the be the smallest they did when I last looked and I'm quite happy running 40mm.

I've got some upgrades planned, including changing bars cos mine are a bit narrow. I'll be getting risers again, not feeling the love for the current trend of flat bars. Decided to hold off on getting new wheels for now. I was really only doing it cos I'm too lazy to swap the front wheel when I want to ride my other bike. There's nothing wrong with them so can't really justify that. I will be getting my shock PUSHed, but will wait until I'm on holiday so I won't miss it.

Cheers, glad I went for the white in end, I wasn't 100% on them.

40mm - super short! My old Vice stem was 65mm +10º This 50 0º feels quite a bit different, more than I expected, but in a good way (until I need to pedal uphill, or for a few hours). The bars are 685mm which compared to the current DH bars are narrowish I suppose. I do quite like the look of the big flat bars, especially when on triple camps, but just wouldn't work on mine, and would be too low.
