Hi,

I need a new QR seat post clamp, I measured the outer diameter of the frame where the seat post slots in, and it measured 30.4mm (tape measure straight across, one end to the other);

I had a look on eBay, and bike shops, for a 30.4mm seat post clamp, but nothing, is this just a very odd size, or am I missing something here?

On the seat post is says 30.9mm.

But that's not it.

If its 30.9 post its prob a 34.9 clamp.
what frame is it?

I've got a spare 34.9 hope quick release clamp you can have for a tenner ? It's silver.

I can't find the spec online, but on my old trance of the same year it had a 34.9 on that and as i said earlier its a pretty safe bet

unityjon; thanks for the offer, a Hope QR is tempting, they look quality, I'm looking for a QR in Red, and preferably brand new though.
