Yo,

Need to buy some spd shoes for using both road and mountain bike (so don't want too bulky).

Anyone know of anywhere to pick some up cheap? (looking around £60-£60).

if anyone has any second hand i may consider - i'm a size 9.

I have seen them, saw the aldi ones and really wasn't impressed, they looked pretty bad, however, obviously you have used yours a fair bit and they are still working.....

any other suggestions? even a more substantial road shoe might do the job...

Muddy fox at sports direct are very good value and quite light!

Just had a look at Evans website and they have plenty of choice in that range of price. Check them out!

Shimano spds I got are good , only downside cant get used to the pedalls & being clipped in not enjoying riding hardtail much at mo keep falling off really not funny

Specialised bg comp or pro are very comfy, dry out fast and last well or for a casual off the bike look five ten hellcats (fairly heavy) or five ten minaars (bit lighter) both SPD..

Ive got mtb spd shoes and pedals but only really use them on road now as had many falls on techy off road stuff, great for big bunny hops though :)

Ive had my bontrager RL shoes for 4 years now, including 2 years of commuting. lots of life in them yet, plus you can get spares for them, straps and buckles etc. Carbon sole and very light. Highly recommend them. theres a few on ebay now. some RXL too.

Hi all,
I bought spd shoes with studs .
On line.
Have a problem wearing them because they are tight .
My suggestion with shoes would be to try them at shops and then get a feel for them.
I have wide feet..
