 Post subject: Rear brake dragging

When cleaning bike last night found Allen key bolts loose on back calliper tightened them up & now back wheel really slow as if brake dragging ! If loosen off bolts wheel spins lot easier ?????

Er no just tighten bolts up!! Bit dim but how do u do that ??

Loosen them off again, pump the brake to align the calliper and the tighten back up.

But then I'm useless mechanically so wait for somebody else to tell you ;)

Loosen the bolts again then spin the back wheel and pull brake lever on, hold brake on and tighten bolts up.

All easily done on a bike stand.. not if back wheel is on floor though :lol: :lol:

Loosen the bolts, compress the lever, and whilst the lever is STILL compressed with one hand, tighten the bolts up with the other hand.

This should align it

funny eenough I was doing that lakeside last night as I was sure I could fly faster.
B ut alas It was a bent Rotor .hence the rubing sound . Next job on the list to do.

I was gonna say same as Peskyjones, something I found recent;ly is that my brakes were so sensitive that when riding and gripping hard I was slightly pulling brake lever a little bit and I wondered why it was hard to peddle !
