Has anyone used the royal alpine softshell? I'm after a softshell and generally love most of the stuff royal produce but has anyone got an opinion on this or any other options?

Got one and it works, pretty good, if slightly baggy.

Nice one thanks. What's the warmth like is it only for really cold days or is it a not more versatile?

Its good mate, i bought one in the winter.

it loses its water resistance pretty fast and isnt a rain coat, but is great in the cold washes well and is vented. I used it a lot during the winter and as a pub coat too. intrepid do another really good looking softshell worth looking at
