That sounds like a big plus in your design On Sunday when it failed I stripped cable inner out and manually put the pin in. What is the service interval ? (I'm a bit lazy and usually wait until it needs doing ) Rocking a 150mm Hardtail DoitAll TrailCentre,Trail-Gator,TrailTrailer |

The tightness of your original seat clamp affects the use of the seat post, don't do them up tight as it restricts the movement Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4 |

Aide, your right it is ugly, it reminds me of your gravity dropper. Here's a picture to compare with my joplin and reverb |

Well i nearly threw my I.C.E v8 in the bin after last night, i cleaned and serviced and lubed it and noticed the thick 'o'ring around the top of the red collar was split. in fact there is a chunk taken out of the top of it and on last nights ride it just kept dropping down, got really frustrating, i couldn't work out why, tried winding the cable right in to lock it up but the post had so much movement the pin kept letting the post drop. I've emailed mtbparts, the company in France that makes/distributes them about getting a new 'o'ring, its a bit of an odd shape so will ask for the right part first before trying to find something suitable from a DIY type store, the o ring is more of a grommet than an o ring so my local hydraulic place will have loads of various sizes <fingers crossed> |

They sent me a new grommet / o ring but i'm not sure its fixed my problem, reluctant to put the post back on the bike when setting off as i dont want to ruin my ride, will need to try and find time one evening or at the weekend to work it out <sigh> |
