Almost all of the vids form June 2009 have been taken on a contor 720

Also check out the Drift HD cam - I like the perspective that gives when head mounted

My view on the contour

+ light and low profile
+ easy to use
+ good image quality
+ frikin lasers

- other cams give a better perspective for MTB - the contour makes things look slow
- no chest mount
- no way of seeing what u have recorded

check this out - a really good comparison

I'm also looking at getting a cam soon. GoPro HD top of the list at the moment, mainly due to the chest mount and the LCD you can / soon can get for them.

Be interested in views on any others too though.

The contour could be worth buying just to quote that, every time! :)

The new contour 1080p has built in GPS which allows you to track your location, speed and altitude.

If your planning on taking the camera snowboarding, you may want to upgrade from contour's water resistant anodized shell to the underwater housing.

The GoPro HD seems to suffer from low light, but the massive range of mounting options is great, and with there new lcd screen and additional Mic, it should be worth considering.

Just thought i would add, gopro's customer service is great, i emailed them last week about wanting to buy a new screw for my roll bar mount (as i lost mine) and they sent me a whole new roll bar mount plus some additional mounts!! for free!!
received today :)

There's a really useful review of the Contour HD at http://www.actioncameras.co.uk/review_of_contourhd_1080p. It highlights the good, but also the not-so-good features of the camera, so you might find it helpful!
