I have the octalink type of bottom bracket. I am planning to up grade my crank and would like to use the hollow tech type bottom bracket. I am lead to believe its just a case of removing the octalink BB and screw in the hollowtech one. Is it a simple as that? |

Andydd , I thought that the hollow tech just used spacers to make it bigger? |

Most, yes. But I believe the is a version of the Saint BB that does 83mm bottom bracket shells so can't be used on 68mm shells. |
